Title: Young Charlotte, Filmmaker
Author: Frank Viva
Young Charlotte is a filmmaker who sees life a little differently than most. She thrives in her black and white world, while New York City is bustling around her. Charlotte does not understand her peer’s fascination with color and often finds herself spending time alone at home, with her very black cat, Smudge. Each weekend Charlotte’s parents take her to visit the Golden Theatre and the Museum of Modern Art. There, she is inspired by another individual who sees things just like Charlotte does. They hit it off and soon Young Charlotte the filmmaker’s dreams take flight.
