Light is found in many forms.  It travels from the Sun and stars, and it comes from things like lamps and night-lights.  Did you know that some animals even make their own light?  This informative non-fiction picture book clearly explains and illustrates the basics of light energy for kids to understand.  As part of the Let’s-Read-and-Find-Out Science series, it also includes experiments to expand exploration about light.

Physical science- Make observations to collect evidence and explain that objects can be seen only when illuminated.
