Iggy Peck, Architect

Iggy Peck Architect

Title: Iggy Peck, Architect

Author:  Andrea Beaty

Summary:

When Iggy Peck was just two years old, he build a great tower out of diapers and glue.  His parents admired his creativity and watched Iggy build buildings from dirt, arches from pancakes, and castles from chalk.  All is well with Iggy until he gets to second grade, where, Miss Lila Greer, his teacher, does not want anyone speaking of buildings in her classroom.  What will Iggy do?  When the class goes on a field trip to Blue River Pass and a footbridge collapses, Iggy’s architectural skills may finally be appreciated.  Iggy Peck, Architect is a wonderfully rhyming picture book that will inspire and ignite kids to find their inner architects.
